Dear Thyroid
Dear Thyroid(TM) is a forum that allows patients with thyroid ailments to write, among other rants and raves, letters to their thyroids. It sounds kind of weird, but it's a great outlet to let go of any anxiety, anger, or sadness you may be harboring. Friends and family are also welcome to send in letters addressed to the sick thyroid of their loved one. They can also send in a letter of gratitude addressed to their own healthy thyroid. I recently submitted a letter... stop by their site and read more about them. And while you're there, you can read my letter. :)

Hey!
I just found this about a week ago and thought it was fantastic. I haven't had the time to write the letter I want to send in yet. I'm looking to make it sort of like a break-up/ end of a bad relationship letter; but really, I don't have a clue where to start!
And I'm realizing I jumped the gun on commenting, and am now going back and reading your letter.
I know, isn't the site great?! I love reading all the letters and thyrants. Such a clever idea.
When I submitted my letter I emailed back and forth with the founder and she says to write as many letters as I want. So I am sure I will have more, because my emotions change so much from day to day. Let me know when yours is submitted!

Hi, I saw your letter on Dear Thyroid, and I wanted to stop by after I read that you had thyroid cancer. I'm in the same boat. I was diagnosed (eventually) with thyroid cancer in 2005, I was 19. I truly miss my thyroid. Since my thryodectomy I've felt terrible, no where near as good as I felt before the surgery. Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that there are others (in your area--I live in Spartanburg) that are in the same boat. Take care!
Yes, Dear Thyroid is the great place to share the views among the people who are suffering with thyroid related diseases and discuss on the issues and treatment related topics here.
I have read about the Dear Thyroid in many forums and blogs. Truly, it is the best place to discuss, share and learn about thyroid related problems and disorders.
